The Pre-Sale for the 2018 Steem Silver Round has Begun
After much anticipation, the website is ready and the pre-sale for the 2018 Steem Silver Round is now live!!
Below is a video that will show you how to order and pay using Steem. If using another cryptocurrency or PayPal or Credit/Debit card it will be similar except for the payment screen.
Here are a few Questions about the Round
- Where do I order the rounds?
You can order the 2018 Steem Silver Round at https://www.steemsilverround.com.
- How much will each round cost?
Each round will be $23.50.
- What does the design look like?
- How many rounds will be minted?

- How expensive will shipping be?
This will depend on the number of rounds purchased and the destination country. Shipping to the United States/Canada will start at $10. Shipping to the rest of the world starts at $15. If you live in Florida, please message me about your order.
- How long will the pre-sale last?
Roughly 2-3 weeks, but will depend on sales.
- How long will it take for the rounds to be shipped out?
Current estimates project it to be about 6-8 until the rounds are ready, but this is a moving target dependent on multiple
variables.
- Is there a maximum number of rounds that can be ordered?
- We would like for everyone to be able to get as many Steem Rounds as they would like, but there are only 2,500 available. If you plan on ordering more than 75 rounds, please contact me. Depending on how the pre-sale goes, we will determine if more than 75 can be ordered by a single individual.
- What account will I send to on Steemit?
From your Steemit wallet you will send it to @coinpayments.net. The ".net" is included at the end! Please verify the account and the memo when sending. Sending to the wrong account will result in a loss of funds.
- What payment methods are accepted?
- Cryptocurrencies (Steem, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Vertcoin, SmartCash, and Dash)
- PayPal
- Credit/Debit Cards (through PayPal on the site)
Note: The website does not accept Steem Dollars. If you have Steem Dollars, please convert them to Steem.
- How long will it take to get a receipt?
After placing the order it will depend on the method of payment. PayPal will be instantaneous, but cryptocurrencies have different confirmation times. The average times with Steem is probably 15-20 minutes. Be sure to check your spam folder for the receipt as I have seen some of them go there.
- Is there a group buy for certain countries?
Last year, I believe there were two group buys (one for Australia and the other for the UK). I think @silverstackeruk (United Kingdom) and @buggedout (Australia) held the group buys for these countries. I have not heard whether they are going to do a group buy again, but we have been in contact with them about it for this year.
- I sent in the COA's for the 2017 Steem Silver Rounds I already have. Now what?
For those that proved they owned the 2017 Steem Silver Round(s), these numbers have been reserved for you. If your COA is numbered 1-91, you do not need to pay for this round, but all others must add the item called "2018 Steem Round Serial Number COA Payment" to their cart for every number they are requesting. When you are at the checkout page, make sure to add the COA's you have added to your cart and would like to receive.
- Is there any way to see what COA's are available?
You can see the list of COA's and their availability here. Please note: This list may not be entirely accurate, but we will try and keep this as updated as possible. If you want a certain COA that is available, you must add the COA to your cart.
- How can I get a 2017 Steem Silver Round?
There are a limited supply of 2017 Steem Silver Rounds available for purchase. You will receive a 2017 and a 2018 Steem Silver Round that have the same COA. The 2-pack will be $70.
