The wife opened it thinking it was something for the kids for Christmas, normally she would get a slap for such sillyness but it is Christmas after all, even for her :D Im thinking why the huge box?
I opened up and remembered around the empty panda sheets i ordered. Ahhh-haa
Thats it all out of the box and laid out for opening
Here we go, first thing is 2 tubes
Then a chunky padded bag full of goodies
Then a half roll of Lunars
5 kooks added. They wrapped 5 Kooks in bubble wrap that measured 50cm x 120cm.
And the cream of the milk. The 2oz Perth Mint figure 8 coin
These are great for storing and being able to show them off at the same time. I always pick up a few but they are hard to get and sell fast.
Here is how everything full out of the bag
Here is after i checked and played with them
Right into the coins. I got x1 2oz, x3 1oz and x10 1/2oz Perth Lunar dogs. They are stored away and i had a quick look but the design seemed nice.
As with every year i pick up x3 UK lunars. This is the 4th coin in there series and i am not sure about this one. One good thing is they ship them in caps now.
Here x5 Perth Kooks, we all know what these are. My rule is if they arrive rolled, they stay rolled
Second in a series of UK Landmarks. This one is the Tower Bridge. I really like this series but only buy the one as the premium is high and its more for my keeper stack.
Finally, the new 2oz Queens Beast Unicorn. I have waiting for this one, i love the way they are chunky. I down with chunky :)
The son wanted one of these to add to his stack so i decided to get one myself. Very surprised at how clean cut the design is, i might buy a few more as they are very well priced as well.
Daughter wanted one of these Lunar Micky Mouse coins and again, i decided to pick one up for myself. It's a nice coin but i do not think i will be buying anymore of these ones.
And if you were wondering what was in the tubes, they are filled with 1oz Owls. I had been planning to get a 1 Kilo Congo Gorilla which i was super excited about getting as i dont have any coin bigger than Ladonna the 5oz Libertad. Anyways, it went out of stock around 4 days before i ordered so this is what i went for instead. Nice, cheap, easy to resale bullion.
The Perth Mint figure 8 deserves a t post of its own. I know Ray already covered it but we had around 50 steemit coin reviews. I have not even taken it out of it plastic bag yet. I will get 5 minutes later to open it up because i have looking to know what the mintage number is. I had a selection of around 15 numbers, none great but still wonna know. That post will come later in the week.
