The Stacker -

On a warm summer's evening
On a current bound for nowhere
I met up with a Stacker
We were both too tired to sleep
So we took turns a-starin'
Around the ocean’s at the darkness
The boredom overtook us
And he began to speak

He said, "Precious, I've made a life
Out of readin' pirates faces
And knowin' where the gold was
By the way they held their eyes.
So if you don't mind my sayin'
I can see you're out of metals.
For a taste of your whiskey
I'll give you some advice."

So I handed him my bottle
And he drank down my last swallow
Then he bummed a silver coin
And asked me for an air tight
And the night got deathly quiet
And his face lost all expression
He said, "If you're gonna stack plunder, Precious,
You gotta learn to stack it right.

You got to know what to stack
Know when to stack it,
Know what’s its really worth
And know when to flip
You never count your Oz’s
When you're sittin' on the sea floor.
There'll be time enough for countin'
When the plunder is stashed away.

Every Upvote bot knows
That the secret to survivin'
Is knowin' who to vote
And knowin' by how much
'Cause every member is a stacker,
And their all needing upvoted,
And the best that you can hope for
Is to die when silver moons."

And when he finished speakin'
He turned back toward the ocean
Put a spliff out on his face
And faded off to sleep
And somewhere in the darkness
The Stacker he broke even
And in his final words
I found the stackitis song that I could keep

You got to know what to stack
