The city of Tulum, a couple of kilometers from the beach, offers a wide variety of hotels, residences and apartments, able to satisfy the most demanding, but without a doubt the most interesting thing is to stay in the part of the beach, in a of the many cabins, of all the categories and of all the prices.
Very close to the city of Tulum are two other great attractions of this area: the eco-tourist park of Xel Há and the biosphere reserve of Sian Ka'an
Xel-Ha is a park with beautiful beaches and with a history that goes back to pre-Hispanic times, located somewhat further north of Tulum. It is a large cove located at the mouth of a river that joins the sea, where the biodiversity of fauna and flora is really impressive. In fact Xel-Ha is known as the largest aquarium in the world and is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in Mexico.
The Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve is an area of pure nature, a part of the Caribbean coast somewhat south of Tulum, where you can feel in total contact with nature.
Tulum has the largest coral reef in the world (only the great barrier of Australia is bigger), solitary white sand beaches, mangroves and a jungle of incomparable beauty. In addition to this, the great variety of fauna includes crocodiles, dolphins, bats, pumas, tapirs and more than 300 species of birds, including the toucan and the famous and very rare quetzal. A natural paradise still unspoiled.
