The first car in the world!

According to the information presented on my website, the very first car in the world was with the steam engine. Of course, this unit may be called a car,but here's something language does not turn.Under the concept of car I associate a vehicle that is compact enough, easy to handle and to some extent reliable. All these definitions are clearly not suitable for machines of the 19th century. In addition to all it is necessary to organize the serial production of cars,so they are available for use a wide range of people. What exactly can be said about those boxed copies, well, except for some.

Time passed, and the cars did not change. We can say that the evolutionary process in this sector has stalled. Here was invented the internal combustion engine and to the world in 1885 appeared the first car–Karl Benz tricycle. The car was rather simple, was a kind of invention Kulibina, only driven not by muscular force, and a gasoline engine.Almost at the same time Gottlieb Daimler invented the Bicycle with the motor, and a year later, and "vehicle" on motor pull.

The first car in the world was invented by Karl Benz in 1886.He won public acclaim and was launched in industrial production. Was a three-wheeled vehicle with an engine of 1.7 liters, which is horizontal.Rear side much played a large flywheel. Have driven this vehicle with T-shaped handlebar.

Over the years, engine power has increased 4 times and amounted to 2.5 HP. So the car Benz has a top speed of 19 km/hour,which is not bad for the first car in the world. However, Karl Benz is not happy and he continued his search. And soon his baby successfully performed in the then-known races of the London-to-Brighton Run,with an average speed of 13 km/hour.Mass production of the car began only in 1890.After three years, "Benz" produced the first four-wheel cars.Based on a three-wheeled designs at the time they seemed too old-fashioned.But despite their slowness and primitive, they were distinguished by simplicity in terms of maintenance and repair and durability.Later, there were two-cylinder modification but at the insistence of Benz, original technical decisions largely remained unchanged.
Model Viktoria in 1893.Improvements four-wheeled "Benz" (1892) continued until 1901.Despite the undemanding design of these machines has released more than 2300 pieces.

The first "Mercedes" (December, 1890.)—the prototype of the modern car with a simple body, destined to participate in car races. Instead, it could be set to quadruple "walking" the body.In the picture you can clearly see the shift lever.
The model of Mercedes 35 HP combines:switch gear, cellular radiator ignition from the magnet low voltage from previous models of the Daimler—and technological innovation—low-set lightweight stamped frame and mechanical actuator of the intake valves (although this news was subsequently abandoned). In the compartment, these solutions give life to a car that differed from his predecessors more reliable operation, and were extremely obedient to the driver.Braking systems have become much more reliable and the quality of the machine itself told all over the world.
