Bogorians love Kujang Monument in the center of city. The obelisk stands close to Bogor Botanical Garden. Kujang is traditional dagger of Sundanese people.
The book of Sanghyang Siksakandang Karesian canto XVII (1440 Saka or1518 CE) said:
Weapons of the peasants are kujang, baliung, patik, kored, knife tapping. Detya became their god, because it is used to take what can be tasted and drunk.
I dont have kujang but I have small rencong from Aceh.

Kujang adalah pisau tradisional orang Sunda. Kitab Sanghyang Siksakandang Karesian canto XVII (1440 Saka atau 1518 Masehi) menyatakan:
Senjata orang tani ialah kujang, baliung, patik, kored, pisau sadap. Detya dijadikan dewanya, karena digunakan untuk mengambil apa yang dapat dikecap dan diminum.
