Street photography is characterized by documenting human activity in public spaces, although the presence of people as the main subject is not always obligatory, since on many occasions we can also use elements of the urban environment as a reference for human activity.
When our goal is to document human activity, at first it seems a difficult task, mainly because we feel afraid or ashamed to take pictures of people we do not know. But breaking that barrier between the photographer and the protagonist of the photo is easier than we usually think. The strategy is to create empathy links with our characters, to achieve it is very easy, you just have to offer a smile or another gesture of friendship with a look or some movement with our hands.
In street photography we managed to establish small bonds of complicity with the protagonist of the photo, in such a way that they show us their naked soul.
