Morning everyone.....
Pease join me on a morning stroll through a local aboratorium. It’s been quite some time since I’ve been here, but I was up early and wanted to get in some exercise before the heat set in.
The land for this aboratorium was donated by a local family over 100 years ago. It is funded by the family still and all of the workers of the property are volunteers.
The land occupies nearly 4 acres of land with over 300 different species of trees and bushes. There are several ponds and brooks which run throughout the land. There are even a couple small waterfalls.
Because of how well it is preserved there is also an array of wildlife as well. I have seen countless deer, several red haired fox, blue heron, swans, ducks, and a couple ravens and owls. No luck today on wildlife though, just the normal birds and squirrels.
Here is a picture of one of the several entrances.
Here are a bunch of pictures from early in my walk before my old crappy iPhone 6S died on me.
Hope you enjoyed this stroll through the aboratorium with me. I will go back and get more pictures soon and next time I’ll bring my charger with me.
