Making of my moon.. [EN/DE]

Ich möchte euch mal wieder ein kleines Making Of zeigen, hier für mein Mond-Bild, das schon in diesem Post zu sehen war. Hierzu gab es zunächst auch eine Idee – vom vergeblichen Erreichen des perfekten Gegenübers – und ein kleines, sehr rudimentäres Scribble.

Based on this sketch, I have modeled a clay figure, whose skeleton consists of wire and also has a small stand made of wire, because this material simply does not stand. Generally, this technique is quite a shaky affair. At least it has to stand upright while taking pictures.

Anhand dieser Skizze habe ich eine Knetfigur modelliert, deren Skelett aus Draht besteht und die auch einen kleinen Ständer aus Draht hat, denn von alleine bleibt dieses Material einfach nicht stehen. Allgemein ist diese Technik eine ziemliche wackelige Angelegenheit. Für das Abfotografieren muss es zumindest reichen.

There are pictures – as you can see here - they end up in a dead end. Somehow the background does not really fit, it generally goes in the wrong direction and I am not really satisfied. Some pictures I leave in this state and the idea dies with them. Sometimes a little break helps to get the motivation to try new ideas.

Es gibt Bilder – so auch hier der Fall – die landen erst einmal in einer Sackgasse. Irgendwie passt der Hintergrund nicht, es läuft allgemein in eine falsche Richtung und so richtig zufrieden bin ich nicht. Manche Bilder lasse ich in diesem Zustand und die Idee stirbt mit ihnen. Manchmal hilft aber auch eine kleine Pause, um dann mit neuen Ideen zu experimentieren.

I have changed the background and the image design, with more dramatic proportions of the figure. In addition, the picture statement can be underlined with the oversized long legs.

Ich habe den Hintergrund ausgetauscht und die Bildgestaltung verändert, zum Beispiel mit dramatischeren Proportionen der Figur. Zudem lässt sich die Bildaussage mit den überdimensioniert langen Beinen unterstreichen.
