En la actualidad se le conoce como el viejo espigón y destruído por el abandono y la huella de los años, que nunca pasan en vano,se ha convertido en un lugar de confluencia de pescadores que llegan hasta él con el afan de capturar un buen ejemplar para su cena.También nos regala una perfecta vista de la Bahía de Nuevitas.
