Recently I went to Stonebridge Restaurant with my mom @sjagoe for an early-bird dinner. Stonebridge is an iconic restaurant located in downtown Milford, Connecticut on a prime piece of real-estate. It's a nice building with a large outdoor area overlooking a waterfall which leads to the Milford Harbor. During the summer months, Stonebridge becomes a hotspot for drinking and nightlife.

The food at Stonebridge is also very high quality. Items on their Prix Fix Early Bird menu costs $17. It's an entree served with your choice of a soup or salad and a dessert. A nice deal for a nice meal. Below is a look at the salad @sjagoe ordered which came with a green goddess dressing.

I ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich off of the Pub Fare section of the dinner menu. It consisted of applewood-smoked bacon, green goddess coleslaw, dijon mayonnaise and crunchy bread and butter pickles loaded on top of a fresh piece of buttermilk fried chicken breast tucked inside of a delicious brioche roll.

It's a very filling and flavorful sandwich. The chicken itself is really awesome and I am a big fan of the green goddess slaw. Overall a tremendous chicken sandwich served with a side of french fries for $15.

My mom @sjagoe ordered off of the Prix Fix menu. For an entree she got Filet Tips. They were served in béarnaise sauce with a side of whipped potatoes and steamed mixed vegetables. She says it was a good cut of meat and the potatoes were delicious.

For dessert @sjagoe received a french vanilla ice cream sundae with hot fudge sauce.

Overall, Stonebridge is a really nice restaurant with high quality food. Although it is known to be a bit pricy, the early bird deals can make it very worth it. I recommend coming here for lunch and eating on the patio in the summer. Great summer food and atmosphere!
