Hey Steemit!

There weren't a lot of choices for contests today, since I don't have bakery photos and I'm kinda stumped for the Valentines' one. Mondays might not be good for tasteem posts, so I might have to adjust my schedule a little bit, but more on that next time!

Anyway, it's time for another weekly choice contest!
Singapore has plenty of delicious local dishes so I'm practically spoilt for choice. If you've ever visited Singapore before, you know that like many other countries in the SEA region, we're a food paradise! Hawker centres are the hub of most local dishes and they have the most affordable meals out there so they're one of my personal favourite places to eat.

One of my favourite hawker stalls is the Roasted Delights stall! Most hawker centres have them; and they sell all sorts of roasted meat (chicken/pork/duck), with noodles or rice!

Quite a few hawker centres have chains of specialised stalls, and my favourite hawker stall chains is this brand called Rong Kee Roasted Delights!

So most of these Roasted Delight stalls derive their culinary techniques from Cantonese cuisine, which is famous for delicacies such as roasted chicken, duck, pork belly and pork ribs. The meticulous cooking process is what gives the meat its tangy, savoury and sweet flavor.

Rong Kee Roasted Delights has mastered the art of roasting these lip-smacking delicacies, making it the favourite haunt of food connoisseurs. It now has more than 35 outlets in Singapore and counting.

We used to patronise only 1 specific outlet since it was near my parents' house in the East. And we'd order the same thing every time - Roasted Pork Noodles, or 燒肉面!

So I've actually written about Roasted Pork Rice before, but there's something special about the noodles they use at Rong Kee, which makes it taste soo good! So not only is the pork crispy and delicious, but the noodles are really springy and tasty too!

The chili they use is really yummy too, and mixes well with the noodles and black sauce, so it's salty and spicy - just the way I like it!

We've eaten here so many times and we're never disappointed! In fact, it always leaves us wonting more! 😆

If you're craving some cheap and tasty noodles, definitely check out Rong Kee Roasted Delights!
