Tattoo Cover-Up In Progress, Step-By-Step Progress By KidDarko.

I'd like to share with you this step-by-step process of a tattoo cover up I am currently working on.

Items Used:

Cheyenne Thunder Rotary Tattoo Machine
Dynamic Black Tattoo Ink
T-Tech - 7 needle #12 liner cartidge
T-Tech - 11 needle bug pin curved magnum shader

Before Photo

This is where we start from. I did a fix-up on the tattoo of the tattoo machine and scissors tattoo on her arm 6yrs ago and now she wants to cover the dice on her arm and finish out a full sleeve tattoo on this arm.

We discussed what ideas she had and decided to do a rendering of her traveling art supplies that she always has with her. She sent me these photos as a point of reference to draw inspiration from.

Here I sketch out my thoughts, once happy with the design I trace it in black pen, making adjustments to the design as I go.

Next I place a stencil on the arm and outline it in black ink using a 7 needle #12 liner needle.

After Photo

Then I lay in all the black shade and shadow with an 11 needle curved bug magnum shader grouping.

I will be adding color during our next appointment and will make an updated post of the progress.
Thanks for viewing.

This is all my own original content.
