Really quick post to bring you all back up to speed.
As I had mentioned previously, we have raised $1440AUD for our charity, massive congratulations to everyone who contributed.
I have been talking to the hospital during the week and I mentioned seeing as we had raised so much, was there something more useful that we could provide that would give better value to hte kids. They agreed that $1400 worth of colouring pencils may be a bit overkill.
They have asked if we can provide Ipads to loan to the families. I think this is great, but we're all a team, so if i can get a quick show of support or rejection over the next few days, then I'll get it in motion.
I have also asked if I can laser etch the Team Australia logo on it, @bearone are you ok if we use your logo for this if they approve?
It'll forever be marked with Steemit if we can get that done.
Lastly, if anyone around the Brisbane area knows where to get cost price Ipads or super cheap ones, I'd prefer to buy from you or your mates rather than a big chain store. Hit me up if you have contacts.
