@fat-elvis builds a birthday cake

Hi everyone

I was asked to make a cake for my neighbour, Ken's 77th birthday. So I got to work in the kitchen

While that was baking, I whipped up a veggie stir-fry and cooked some African samosas, that a Rwandan friend made for me.

Well, the cakes came out and cooled until after supper, the I set to work... Cue the A-Team theme

Mmmm. Cherries

Then the second layer

And topped with a buttercream icing.

And decorated fairly simple but looks good!

I kinda messed up the K in Ken, but hey, I'm no professional Baker, so that's as good as it gets from this working stiff!
