I heard about this meetup from @arwine about 2 weeks ago, informing me that @melindajamulis and @chanelcalestus is arranging a meetup to help some of their friends (new Steemians), gain more insights about the Steemit platform.

I was further informed that @danieldoughty will personally come to support the meetup and will be the main man to answer the new Steemians questions and doubts. Since this meetup is more like a social gathering, I took the opportunity to meet these new Steemians and at the same time introduces myself to them too.
The meetup proved to be a successful outing for all of us, 16 people turned up (including my self) and we were able to introduce ourselves and get to know each other. @danieldoughty did a very good job in answering all of the questions and even shared his experience about Steemit since the first time he was introduced to it by @bitrocker2020. @viverridae and @veenang was also very supportive, sharing their insights and experience about Steemit.
All in all, the meetup is done in a very informal environment, fun and filled with giggles and laughter, it's like old friends reunion reminiscing the good old days. More meetups and charity outings will planned in the future, and will be announced once the finer details has been verified. I'm so excited and am looking forward to make it another succesful Steemit Community gatherings and activities.
Finally, I would like to congratulate @danieldoughty for being elected officially as the new Steemit Ambassador, keep on the good work bro.
