It was indeed a great two weeks for #teammalaysia growth and we managed to hit several milestones which we can ALL be proud of.
It started off in Kuala Lumpur and met up with a group of wonderful ladies thanks to @francesaw including one who is the mother of Malaysia's first Ice Skating Gold Medalist for Sea Games 2017 now a full time steemian @iceskatermom
Fast forward ... off to the wonderful land of Kuching
Had the pleasure to meet some of the best people from Kuching.
Also was privileged to meet with seasoned steemian @positivesteem and share a lot of insights of steemit. Special thanks to @malcolmbocao from iCube Innovation for hosting the steemit talk. Really great co-working space if you ever are in Kuching

Thank you to @danieldoughty & @madeve to get this organized with KCCI, Sabah ! The turnout was great and was met with great enthusiasm. We were honored by the presence of KCCI's President Datuk Bonipasius Bianis who sat in thru the entire presentation and encouraged more of such talks to be conducted within the community.
We then metup with new steemian artists
@borneoairbrush and @magicborneobeads to explain to them the potential of being an artist on steemit. Take a look at the wonderful art which was produced by them and the community of artists around Sabah. Hope to get them all onboard to further grow the Steemit community and of course #teammalaysia
After a few days of travelling and meeting great people together with @danieldoughty we were informed by @madeve that our presentation at KCCI had caught the attention of the media. We were mentioned in the local Daily Express, Sabah. Here is the article. I must thank @lorenabinisol in writing this article.
As part of #teammalaysia initiative a sub project under @curie, I'm extremely happy with the growth of the community in Malaysia as I've been receiving great support from everyone around this collective. A great big thank you to everyone and lets continue to grow and support the community.
Another great news for me is that #teammalaysia is now a trending tag !!! Shows that Steemians in Malaysia are now active and do lookout for great content coming from Malaysia #teammalaysia
