Hey everyone! The 10th day of the Chinese New Year celebrations for was a super fun, side splitting full of laughter and most of all of meaningful connections for me. We still have another 5 days to go...(yes our CNY celebrations are 15 days long!)

It started off with my arriving at the Team Malaysia babes celebration which was hosted by @patlu at about 5.30 pm. I pushed the door open and there was a split second of silence before my fellow babes screamed at me to join in the group photo shoot that was ongoing! I literally kicked my shoes off and ran headlong into the group and got my group photo! Now I just have to hunt down whose phone it was that took that picture! Babes if you know whose phone camera it was, please please give me a shout!

I also managed to catch two shots of our dear @orangila who is always taking photos of people and not getting his photo taken!

Anyway, there was so much delicious food and being able to put more names to faces was just awesome. Since the Steemit bootcamp for ladies, I have only managed to catch up with a few through the MyJuniors 1st Official Event. I met some of them again yesterday and more newbies which joined the Babes group recently. The highlight of the event was being able to catch @sireh in action doing a live sketch in like 5 minutes! The loud hoots of laughing came at the "Titanic Moment" which I am not going to write about since a couple of people have already written about it at lenght! 😃 You can get some laughs for your day @perennial and @angiechin28 has posts on the event too.

Check out the video of the epic moment that I caught on camera!

@sireh is super talented and I am so happy that he has agreed to help kids learn to draw in the MyJuniors Steem Cartoon drawing event that is upcoming on the 10th of March! Do come and support if you have kiddos between the ages of 4-12! It is going to be a blast!

There was just so much love, support and genuine acceptance yesterday evening with the Babes! @patlu was so kind as to encourage me on my journey of ecommerce even offering help where needed! @noriaakip for her extreme generousity in food, drinks and sharing! @kaerpediem who offered to share some signature footer tips with me and @jassicania who openly shared about some stuff that she was going through. I didn't have much time to chat with everyone but it was cool to meet the thorns among the roses as well as the all the other Babes from the Steemit Bootcamp and MyJuniors CNY event. I missed the flamenco guitar performance but I am sure will get to see the Steem Music people soon. You girls and guys rock!

I then rushed off to the main Team Malaysia event at the Setia Sky Residence and the party was already in full swing. Thanks to @joannewong and @aaronleang who painstakingly with their sub-committees put this all together. As usual, any Malaysian party is not complete without food and we welcomed the Lunar New Year with the tossing of Yee Sang!

The view from the place was amazing but the once again the more amazing experience for me was the connections with people from all walks of life but like minded in many ways in wanting to make a difference to the community around them.

I met @aaronteng whose company has been organising the TEDx KL talks for the last 9 years! I love listening to TEDx on youtube. So many great ideas shared! How I met him was funny because my little Chapati decided to bring his rubik cube with him to the party and Aaron was trying to show my son how he could solve it. He is really good at solving it too! So much so I decided to video him doing it in less than 1 minute!! Thanks for the entertainment Aaron and I am looking forward to future co-operations...(ie. back stage volunteering...etc. hahahaha)

Check out this video of him solving the Rubik Cube! @kokuryo and I were cheering him on!

I also met @yasminep who is an incredible jewellery designer and women's advocate. She has a passion to help other women in business and entrepreneurship and hopefully we can also work together on her upcoming event at the end of March.

Not forgetting all the usual suspects who are great advocates in building Team Malaysia! @bitrocker2020 @elizacheng @littlenewthings @karinzdailygrind @maverickfoo @deborism @zord189. I wish I had more time to talk to everyone there but running after two kiddos kinda makes it a little more difficult to have an adult conversation. I wish I could have connected with @iamjadeline and @happycrazycon as I have heard so much about them not to mention the people who flew in specially for the event! I am sure though there will be a next time!

Oh did I mention the view??? Yup my Chapati wading splashing around in the private pool. Nope Mama didn't bring any extra shorts so go figure...

Relationships and connections I have made in this short time really make me look forward to all the possibilities that Steemit opens up for me to make a difference. Not just in my life but in others, not just in Malaysia but globally! Me...just your average girl next door!

Thank you Team Malaysia for all the love and support!
