TeamMalaysia CNY meet-up with a view!

Today I went along to my first official steemit meet-up with TeamMalaysia and it was nothing short of awesome.

I mean check this out... not your regular meet-up, right?

This one was hosted by @aaronleang and @joannewong - thanks guys for sorting everything out! You did an awesome job and put a lot of effort into making this a great event. Awesome turnout too!

With blue skies all day, it was the perfect day for our Chinese New Year meet up! I spent the morning brunching with my man, swimming and napping. Gotta nap on a Sunday. Then ended it with this great meet-up.

Oh and check out this amazing sunset view from the balcony.

As a newbie here, I got to meet over 50 people who are a part of the TeamMalaysia community, and even managed to connect with some like-minded individuals such as @vikapuzach, @khimgoh and @natalielo (who has her own small business specialising in natural skincare) among others.

@firepower it was awesome to meet you and your team today, who flew in from India especially to be a part of this!

It goes without saying really, that you can't have a CNY without yee sang. One of my favourite Chinese-Malaysian traditions. You toss the salad as high as you can, whilst wishing for prosperity, wealth and whatever else you hope for.

One of the only photos I managed to take! With @crypto3d and @natalielo

Yeaaaah we made a pretty big mess. Before and after shots of the yee sang.

Before..

After..

Thank you steemit! And of course @bitrocker2020 & TeamMalaysia for building this awesome community.

It really makes a difference to be able to meet the people behind the names!

Looking forward to being a part of more events and also organising some of my own in future.
Stay tuned! ;-)

Yasmine
