Of course, you can make a similar bench. In following pictures you can see how I made a wooden bench from old poplar planks.
This bench was easy to make, and you don't really need to have some fancy machines, basic hand tools will be enough!
I mad this bench in hour and a half, and it will last for years.
It is a great thing to make something with your hands, and you will be astonished how dealing with wood can relax your entire body and a soul!
Also, it is a nice feeling to knowing, that you can make something on your own, instead of going to IKEA or some other shop to buying it.
