John's been busy for awhile breaking open these battery packs to salvage the remaining good cells. At this point, his hands are sore and he's sick of the job but he's getting close enough to where there's an end in sight, so he's trudging on as I type. We paid a fraction of what these cells usually cost for his labor of breaking these things open, so it's a tradeoff he's willing to take.
The idea is just to remove the cells from the pack, organize them and eventually test and charge them. This tells him their capacity so that way he can most intelligently build our battery packs.
With the shipment we got yesterday from AveRage Joe he should be busy for a little while getting these cells ready then eventually banded together.
