Your life before steemit?
Well, in my spare time I like to hang with friends and play video games.
I take online courses and collect minerals. I draw art when inspired,
poetry too, and like to go for walks when it's cool outside at night.
I collect various cryptocurrencies and check the markets regularly.
Life before Steemit wasn't all that bad, but I mean let's be honest,
working at a Coffee Shop to pay the bills is something most everyone
experiences at some point in this strange game we call life.
I had only been working there about a month when one of my
coworkers texted me and told me about this website he heard about
where you can earn digital money in exchange for voting on and posting
content.
I ignored the text at first as I wasn't up for another one of those 'earn
rewards for posting' schemes. After a day or so I checked out the link in
Google and came across Steemit. This would have been back in the beginning
of February 2017, a mere 5 months ago now.
How you introduced to steemit?
I signed up for the website and within a day or so was a member of Steemit.
Right away it reminded me a little bit of Reddit, another popular social media
web forum. The thing that stood out though was the little $ sign next to the
posts upvote count.
I was intrigued to say the least. This person had earned quite a sum of $ for
the post itself and then I read some tutorials on how to navigate Steemit, how
to make your posts look and read better, how to change your Steem into BTC,
and more.
After a bit of reading I felt ready to get started in this new and budding
community. I made my first post, an 'introduceyourself' post authenticating
me as the user of the account and as a real individual. The post earned a sizable
$47 or so, and I was impressed and intrigued.
I met a lot of cool people but after about 3 weeks I drifted away and forgot
about Steemit until June of this year, when I was out for a walk and thought it'd
be nice to take a picture for you all to see. So I came back and browsed and was
getting into the swing of things slowly when I discovered...
The Minnow Support Project
I joined the discord chat channel and was greeted by @aggroed and a few others.
They walked me through sign up, along side a post from another member. Others
there were nice enough to send my way the $0.002 SBD needed for registration
with the Chat Channel Bots for $upvoting content.
*It's been almost a month now that I've been back to the site. I've learned a lot,
met amazing cool people at P.A.L.net in the Minnow Support Project, gained over
140 new FOLLOWERS, and had a great time doing it.

Your best and worst experiences here?
All things in good time, my dear. All things in good time.
The way it's been lately it's been the best time being here
since I've been hanging out with P.A.L.net in Discord and
assisting fellow MINNOWS over there with the others.
There hasn't been any horrible, or 'worst' experience here
as of yet, and I'm hoping o keep it that way for another long
while if i can help it.
life after steemit?
Looking up
Being on the wave of Steemit Beta is going to be interesting once
the website goes mainstreem. I plan on sticking around through the
good and the bad, and the ugly, with all you beautiful people and
see where Steemit takes all of us, and it's delicious Steem and $SBD.
