Father of two wonderful daughters, both in college. Oldest is doing Natural Sciences, most likely Ecology, or Environmental Sciences. My youngest is doing Integrated Marketing Communications. Love them both!
My passion is science and in particular, Space Sciences, Astronomy, and exploration.
As if it wasn't obvious, I care deeply and feel strongly that mentoring, and passing along to the next generation is our reason to be. For this, I spend my time and energy locally on mentoring. I work with two local FIRST Robotics teams, for high school students. As well as the organizations that sponsor the competitions for the Robotics teams. First Robotics
I have a passion for wildlife and bird photography! LOVE it. I can get lost in it... spending hours shooting birds in local lakes and rivers.
My happy place is Cape Cod. I love the beach, love the ocean, and all of my local whales, birds, dolphins, and fish!
I can spend time shooting sunsets, and nature around me...I am both happy and uncomfortable at large parties. I love being the host. I can cook, and get a party ready for 50 comfortably, at my house. I do often enough. I also am fairly comfortable NOT talking to people. I'll make the party fun, provide food and appetizers, and serve drinks for all! But be quiet in the background, silently sipping on the perfect Bombay Sapphire Gin and Tonic. Perfect, I say, or I will incur the wrath of @damianjayclay!
I am passionate, loudly laughing, and a shy introvert at the same time.
I write, paint, and of course spend time behind my camera lenses.
Music means the world to me. My first few years of work were in concerts. AND to this day, occasionally work with some no name and some fairly well known performers. Love music. As some have noticed, most of my posts have lyrics in them. I see images with a tie to music.
