I was a tour guide for a family of 5 on a sightseeing tour around Arashiyama in Kyoto, Japan. They scheduled the trip last year. The rough plan was to take the Romantic Sagano Train, enjoy a hot spring, have Japanese cuisine or a Kaiseiki set, and stroll around the bamboo groove.
At 7 A.M. I headed from home to my clients' hotel. We took the public train from Osaka Station to Umahori station to catch the Sagano Romantic Train. The starting station was Torokko Kameoka Station to Torokko Saga Station. The fare is 620 yen and it took about 20 minutes to Torokko Arashiyama station.
The Romantic Train is runs along the Hozugawa River. Cherry blossom season and autumn are the best times to travel on this train.
On the way, I saw an old Japanese man who was selling postcards that he draws by himself. They were excellent. He was selling them for 100 yen each.
We got off at Torokko Arashiyama Station and walked through the bamboo groove. You can see natural green bamboo trees all around both sides. Although there was some space in some spots because it got hit by a typhoon last year.
If you get tired, I recommend relaxing at Fufunoya Hot Spring. It is not far from Togetsukyo Bridge, about a 5 minute walk. Please see more information at the link below.

After my clients finished at the hot spring, I took them to Togetsutei for lunch. They decided to have Kaiseki set. This restaurant is located near Togetsukyo Bridge. It is a really nice location. The staff provided a private room for us. It had a nice atmosphere, and I could see outside while I was having lunch. Kaiseki cuisine consists of many kinds of food in a set, with ingredients depending on the season.

The sky was dark, and it seemed it might rain soon. So, we changed the plan to head back to Osaka immediately. I hope you enjoy the trip as much as I did.

ทริปนี้ออกเดินทางตั้งแต่ประมาณ 7 โมง ไปรับลูกค้าที่บ้านพัก จากนั้นนั่งรถไฟเดินทางเข้าเมืองเกียวโต โดยจุดหมายปลายทางที่แรก ของเราคือ นั่งรถไฟสายโรแมนติกSagano Romantic Train ที่สถานีต้นสาย Kameoka Torokko Station และไปลงที่สถานี Arashiyama Torokko station ใช้เวลาประมาณ 20 นาที คะ ค่าโดยสารคนละ 620 เยนคะ สำหรับการเดินทางมาที่ต้นสายให้นั่งรถไฟสาย JR Sagano Line มาลงที่สถานี Umahori ก่อนคะ จากนั้นเดินเท้าไปที่สถานีรถไฟสายโรแมนติก สถานี Kameoka Torokko คะ
รถไฟวิ่งลัดเลาะตามไหล่เขา เลียบแม่น้ำ Hozugawa ช่วงฤดูชมซากุระ และฤดูใบไม้เปลี่ยนสี จะได้รับความนิยมเป็นอย่างมาก
พวกเราลงกันที่สถานี Arashiyama Torokko คะ
จากนั้น เราเดินเท้าเพื่อทะลุป่าไผ่ มุ่งหน้าเข้าสู่ย่านคนเดิน ระหว่างทางเราได้ชมธรรมชาติไปถ่ายรูปไป แม้ว่าบางจุดอาจจะดูโล่งๆ กว่าปกติ เป็นเพราะได้รับอิทธิพลจากไต้ฝุ่นเมื่อปีที่แล้วคะ
เดินไปเลื่อยๆพบคุณลุงจิตกร เอารูปที่ตัวเองวาด มาทำเป็นโปสการ์ดวางจำหน่ายอยู่ข้างทางคะ บอกเลยคะว่าสวยทุกรูปคะ ราคาใบละ 100 เยนคะ ใครผ่านไปแวะอุดหนุนลุงแกด้วยนะคะ (แกพูดภาษาอังกฤษได้นิดหน่อยคะ) แอบได้ยิน อิอิ
หากใครเมื่อยล้า อยากแช่ออนเซนแบบญี่ปุ่นแนะนำเลยคะที่นิ ฟูฟูโนะยะออนเซนคะ ห่างจากสะพานโทเกะสึเคียวประมาณ 5 นาทีคะ

หลังจากที่ลูกค้าสบายเนื้อตัวแล้ว ก็พาพวกท่านไปทานอาหารชุดไคเซกิ ที่ร้าน Togetsutei ตั้งอยู่ตีนสะพานโทเกะสึ อาหารไคเซกิเป็นอาหารแบบสไตล์ญี่ปุ่น ที่มีหลากหลายชนิดภายในเซต โดยชุดไคเซกิ ได้นำวัตถุดิบที่มีในแต่ละฤดูมาปรุงเป็นอาหารให้เราทานกันคะ
ทางร้านจัดเตรียมที่นั่งภายในห้องส่วนตัว เราได้นั่งภายในห้องที่ถือว่าบรรยากาศดีมากคะ เป็นกระจกใส มองเห็นวิวแม่น้ำ และต้นไม้อันร่มรื่นคะ
ด้านล่างเป็นมื้ออาหารกลางวันในวันนี้คะ เห็นน้อยๆ แต่ก็อิ่มมากเลยคะ ชื่อว่า Kisetsu No Takebentou
อากาศเริ่มครึ้มฟ้าครึ้มฝน ไม่นานฝนก็ตกลงมา พวกเราเลยต้องเปลี่ยนแผนเดินทางกลับเข้าเมืองโอซาก้ากันคะ หวังว่าทริปในวันนี้เพื่อนจะสนุกไปด้วยกันนะคะ
