Thank you, thank you, thank you (is it possible to say it enough?).
I joined Steemit way back in January 2017 after finding out about it in some random web surfing moment to do with Bitcoin (weird huh, nothing to do with Bitcoin really but there it was staring at me in Google).
I was getting pretty bored with Twitter and Facebook at the time, and to discover this new social media concept that actually rewarded its contributors for being part of what makes it… Wow, such a groundbreaking idea, share the wealth with those who actually produce it.
I had to become a part of that. Steemit had layed out the welcome mat to those who wanted aboard.... Uh YES please!
Here I am after not quite 6 months and I have 2251 awesome followers who see a value in what I share. Recently I did a massive follow blast to get a decent number posts into my feed to chose from (I am now following over 36,400 accounts so it is quite likely that I am following you already) My reasoning was that hopefully I would receive some following back and content upvotes in return…I was right, karma returned a great many followers and upvotes to my little spot in the Steemit community. (For now I am just a little spot, but that will change).
Lately I have mostly been resteeming content that I like and that I believe needs to get more visibility, including newly created posts and posts from my feed, also upvoting a lot and giving my full 100% upvote always when I vote. My vote isn’t worth much but when I vote you get the full 100% not a 1% or %5 or even %50… You a full 100% of my vote share.
Our kitty Betty was in a horrific accident recently, so that has taken my attention away from writing, but I will be back it. I follow back those who chose to follow me, that doesn’t mean automatic upvotes though please be aware of that.
Steemit has given me a chance to play in the cyber currency world…and this is essentially for free.
I now have very small holdings in STEEM, SBD, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Lightcoin, and Dash. Steemit allowed me do this. My followers and those who upvote my posts have allowed me to do this… THANK YOU!
Instead of posting on the other social media I post here first, then respost some links to Steemit posts on my other social media, this helps me, it helps Steemit and it helps those who I choose post about too. Win… Win… Win. No losers.
In Steemit there are no losers. We are all winners.
