Today we are bringing back an old favorite - with a new twist.
This isn’t just any old Steem Diary. This is The Diary Game.
Write your diary. On Steem. Every Day. And win upvotes and prizes.
The Diary Game
To join the game all you have to do is write a diary on Steem.
It hasn’t got to be anything wild and exciting. Just your daily life.
What you did each day. Did you work, did you play? What you ate, what you read, what you watched.
Did you go out, or are you still locked down at home?
You can post your diary every day, or just once a week. Or just when you fancy.
We will be watching out for the diaries and voting on as many as we can.
But that is only the beginning...
You will also get points for the diaries. One point for every daily diary post.
If you post your diary with a steemit.com link on Twitter you will get another point.
And if your Tweet gets retweeted by someone with more than 100 followers you earn another point.
And if you share your diary on Facebook you can get another point.
Just add a screenshot in the comments of your diary post to prove these.
Points Mean Prizes
The Diary Game will run until the end of the 100 Days of Steem project.
We will be keeping a leaderpoint of everyone that has joined The Diary Game and the points they accumulate.
At the end of the 100 Days there will be prizes for the people in the top 3 positions.
How to join The Diary Game
Starting posting your daily diaries.
Tag each diary with #the100daysofsteem and #thediarygame, and comment below that you are joining the game.
If you post your diary on Twitter or Facebook include a screen capture in a comment on your post and a direct link to the Tweet or Facebook post. Remember to include a steemit.com link in your tweet or Facebook post.
Once a week make a summary post including links to all your diary posts for the week, and the Twitter and Facebook links or screen captures. Also include a note of the number of points you think you have earnt for the week…
- 1 point for each daily diary
- 1 point for each tweet on Twitter
- 1 point for each retweet by someone with more than 100 followers
- 1 point for each share on Facebook
This point scheme may be refined as we go along to balance the game and avoid any exploits.
Anyone that is found to be abusing or cheating the game will be excluded from the prizes and upvotes.
We will be doing an update post on The Diary Game every Saturday featuring the best diary posts, any changes to the rules and new ways to earn points.
Diary posts can be in any language. They must be at least 100 words long.
We may include links to the best diary posts in our ‘Look What’s On Steem’ newsletters.
