So I'm thinking about adding some things to "The Cut" Channel on Discord. After all, "The Cut" is Steemit's official hip hop community. I was thinking it would be dope if we can establish Thursday and Fridays as the official Hip Hop mix days. Meaning, I would officially take on the role of DJ for a few hours and possibly pass it on to some other Steemit hip hop DJ's that are interested. These other DJ's can also play some of their favorite hip hop mixes. It would also be dope if we can play members of Steemit' community "original" music as well, hip hop of course.
Steemians "original" music
Okay, so in order for me to play your music with the bot that I have installed, it would probably be better for you to have your music on Soundcloud or Youtube. This way I could simply command the bot on the Discord channel to play it without any issue. I will create a sub-channel called "DJ Requests" and you can submit your requests from the room. Once you're in "The Cut" you can also request your own "radio" popular song(s) from the DJ as well.

If you are a part of the hip hop community, you're part of "The Cut". Help me spread the word and let everyone know there's a place where all the hip hop heads come together to support each other. Let them know there's usually some dope hip hop playing, and let them know that it's usually opened pretty late. Also let them know that we're a community of friends that know and support each other. This is where you come to find out about all the hip hop Open Mic and Challenges on Steemit. Also if you're creating a new hip hop competition, this is probably where you want to come and promote it as well. And last but not least, let them know that this is where you want to be if you want your music to be played and heard by honest and supportive hip hop heads.
