Dear Steemians,

If you haven’t read the first one yet, here is the link.

At the Spiez train station, we bought our Swiss Half Fare Card and tickets to lauterbrunnen. If you are traveling by the train in the country, you should buy either Railways Pass ( they have quite the varieties ) or buy in advance because the train tickets are so expensive!
Since I have been bringing you along the journey, so here is the location of spiez ( red dot )on the map.
The journey travels along the lake thurn and to interlaken, and finally to lauterbrunnen.
It would have been nice to stay in this quaint lake town, but for now good bye to this view .
The view on the other side from train window's wasn't bad either
The houses by the lake
Fruit plucking by the lake, anyone know what kind of plant is that, apple tree?
We arrived at interlaken train station (OST), which is a terminal and junction to other railway lines. There are two train stations with the name of interlaken ; interlaken ost and interlaken west , the west is more for going to the town center.
Transferring to the next train was pretty simple and straightforward. The trains in Switzerland are all free seating and don't worry about the seats being full.. during a week of travelling through the country, the seats were always empty. You only need to get a seat number when you are on international trains or special compartment trains.
Do you see the little people with orange suits, we saw them always at the railway stations/ train tracks, Swiss really take care of their train system , no wonder they cost so much and one of the best in the world.
Going through the mountains
Finally, we arrived to the valley among the mountains. Welcome to Lauterbrunnen.
Thank you for reading..Hope you enjoy it , remember to up-vote if you like it and leave a comment of what you think.
