Hey hey!
Super fun weekend.... while it was disappointing that the American Ninja Warrior Experience was cancelled in Phoenix Arizona, we did make the best of it and have a super great fun weekend regardless.
The American Ninja Warriors who were in town put on a course and held a Meet & Greet at AZ on the Rocks. We didn't realise we had to register beforehand and it was so super busy that we never got an opportunity to run the course they set up. Everyone was so super amazing and friendly though and we had a great time chatting to all the famous Ninja Warriors that we've seen on TV.

This photo above no where near demonstrates how many people there were.... it was crazy, crazy packed. Maybe a couple of thousand...
We managed to catch the most amazing sunset once we got back to our accommodation. It was slightly cloudy which just made it amazing.
The above photo is at sunset, while the photo below is pretty much in the same spot, but after the sunset. So many colours!
On Sunday we went back to AZ on the Rocks for a play. Here is a quick little vid.
Afterwards we went to the Desert Botanical Garden which was absolutely amazing. I've never seen cactus' before... they're such weirdos. How do they even exist? What's the point of them? Once again, the sunset was incredible. Phoenix is amazing! @bethwheatcraft is a lucky duck!
This photo below I thought was so great on my camera. I was pretty much 'we can go, I've taken the best photo ever taken'... but on closer review, it could be a trillion times betterer. Like, y'know, I could have maybe gotten it in focus. This is an important lesson to learn before we hit the Grand Canyon...
Such an unfriendly guy... who hurt you so bad cacti?
Of course I had to get the icon cactus shape. All that was missing was a Road Runner and an Acme Anvil:
Sometimes though, you just have to bring your own silhouettes:
We didn't get the purples on the Sunday night... but eugh, the colours we just so great. I'd highly recommend the Desert Botanical Garden - you defs won't regret it.... unless you hug an unfriendly cactus dude then you'll so massively regret it.
