"My Holiday Trip To The Beautiful City Pokhara"

A week before i had travel to one of the most beautiful place of Nepal, Pokhara. Pokhara is the second largest city of Nepal after Kathmandu. It is just at a distance of 200 kms from the capital city, and is easily accessible. It is a piece of heaven in the world. There are many beautiful and interesting places to visit in Nepal, outside the Kathmandu Valley. Pokhara is one of the most scenic and exciting valley in Nepal.

An early morning bus from Kathmandu took us towards Pokhara. We had coffee there at near road, which eventually turned out to be memories, because the price was much more than we expect. After 4 hours of staying in bus, we reached hotel for a vegetarian lunch that actually melted in the mouth. Maybe we were hungry!

One of the tourist attractions in Pokhara is Lake Side, a small part of the city famous for its ultra-modern restaurants and night clubs. Lake Side is the place to be if you want to experience the night life of Pokhara. There are numerous pubs, clubs and discos here to give you the taste of nightlife of Pokhara.

Well, I do remember waking up early in the morning with the excitement to see outside the window. And what did I see? The Fish-tail mountain (Machhapuchhre). It was very mesmerizing. The Mountain with the most peculiar shape not only stood clean, white and beautiful but the very first rays of sun clouding over the top was indeed fascinating. I can still remember the twist of joy I felt looking at the nature’s most lovely form.

Renting a boat for a couple of hours and heading out to the middle or the other side of the lake bordering the forested hill, and taking a swim, can be the highlight of a warm day.

Pokhara has also developed as an adventure destination in the last decade, offering everything from ultralight flying to paragliding, and from skydiving and ziplining to bungee jumping, Pokhara is a complete holiday package for a perfect vacation.

Words are not enough to describe the amount of fun you can have in Pokhara, the only way to experience the city is by going there and receiving what delights it has to offer. So, have Pokhara on your top list of places to travel when you are in Nepal.
