What a blast! This park is truly insane! Sometimes I forget that I live in such a wonderful place with so many crazy attractions! There are so many new things being built here every year and I literally have no time to enjoy them all! Well that's how I ended up at Xenses. My lovely friend Jackie had a couple free tickets that needed using up before the end of June so on went the bikinis and off we went!
Picture from Xenses website.
I almost dont know where to start to explain all of the sensatory factors this is by far the strangest day trip i have ever been on. We arrive at the park and gather in the pinwheel.
There's a really tripy light show inside the pinwheel later in the day.
The Town was by far my favorite part. It was like walking into a Harry Potter/ Alice in Wonderland / fairytale like world. Ive never experienced anything like it! The town looked like you were walking uphill however you were really walking downhill! Well that the way the water was flowing? How does water look like its flowing uphill? I still really dont understand the engineering behind Town! It's certainly something you need to experience with all of your senses. It's not something that can be explained unless your J.K Rowling!
Check out this video of @luzcypher walking through one of the walkways in the Town! We all felt drunk after walking through the town! 😂
Yes I totally suck at taking videos and I apologize for my annoyingly squeaky British voice! Haha
The first thing we did in the park was an activity called the xensatorium. Basically you walk through 7 different ecosystems in the pitch dark only using your other senses! It was a very interesting 12-15 minutes! I wasn't too keen on the freezing cold arctic section myself. Brrrrrr
At the end of the xensatorium we were greeted by a beautiful waterfall and flamingos.
The slip and slide was awesome! Short but a rush! We went on it 3 times!!
In stead of the normal zipline Xenses park had the Bird fly which was pretty cool. We did this one twice.
The weightless floaty river and sludgery (think mud pool) were my least favorite things. I found these quite boring but then i never have been the type to relax easily. The waterfall at the end was AMAZING! I dont have such fabulous pictures of these things and there is no way I was going to shell out $70usd for the photos the park took of us at the end of the day! Thats where all these parks get you. Photos cost a fortune and im not a steemit whale yet! Haha
I took some pretty cool videos. Here's a couple of them.
All in all it was a fun day out and we all had a great time. 10 minutes later we were back in Playa del Carmen eating seafood at one of my favorite restaurants Los Aguaschilis. As @luzcypher says "you've got to feed the minnows"" 😂😂😝
Oh!! I almost forgot. They have a restroom just for me!
I was going crazy wanting to turn all the teepee the correct way round! 😂 😫 And in case theres any argument. This is the way it goes!!!!!
And this is my dad just going al fresco. Just kidding. Thankfully not! Lol
Oh and this van in the parking lot had us all cracking up!!! "Nowhere Tours"...... Brilliant!!
I said this was going to be a short blog! Oh well. I definitely recommend this park if your coming to Cancun or Riviera Maya any time soon. We had a blast! Carry on Steemin!
