Today is Waterfall Wednesday and and my entry today is from the Vosges Mountains in France.
This beautiful green waterfall is called Cascade Charlemagne and is hidden well in the woods near the german-french border. You won't stumble over this place by coincidence, no big signs or lot of people nearby. In fact I had to come twice because I couldn't find it the first time. But it was worth the effort.
It is a really stunning location and with its lush green and big ferns it looks like in the jungle...

If you also want to participate in the Waterfall Wednesday do the following:
- Create a post featuring a photo where a waterfall is the primary subject and share some information about it - you could also pin it to the Steemit World Map. And it doesn’t need to be a large waterfall, smaller cascades are welcome too
- Only post on Wednesdays - this will require everyone’s honesty
- Use the tag #waterfallwednesday
- And to create some sense of community, I suggest after posting a photo, to browse through the other submissions of the day and to up-vote at least three posts you like.
All photos are my own work.
