Looking Out Across The Sea Of Galilee At Sunset
The Sea of Galilee is a freshwater lake in Israel. It is the largest freshwater lake in the country. Also called the Lake of Tiberius, it is over 13 miles long and 7 miles at its widest point. It is considered a shallow lake, at only 150 feet deep. This amazing lake is 650 feet below sea level. History and The Bible tells us that Jesus began His ministry on the Sea of Galilee.
