A weekend of art and music in the country's capital part I.

- Jazz Festival -

Last weekend I decided to travel to the capital of the country (Caracas), to enjoy what would be the first installment of the "Jazz Festival Venezuela" that took place in the theater "Teresa Carreño", which began on 26 November and ended on Sunday December 3. A festival full of great artists, talented performers of different instruments and styles such as; Latin jazz / jazz fusion / Latinocaribeña / Afrovenezolana, etc. It should be noted that the cost for the general enjoyment of the activity was quite modest, consisting of five thousand bolivars for closed-door assemblies while for the open-air quartets Jam sessions, (most of them included at night) were totally free.

- provincial in the city -

I belong to a small town that despite being a state capital is quite modest in terms of culture, infrastructure and places of recreation, but that has certainly gone through in recent years a series of transformations that suggest that it is in a state of growth and progress. Imagine my surprise when I first encountered the visual magnitude offered by the Teresa Carreño Theater in terms of architectural design, and the multicultural development environment offered to young people, providing a fruitful environment for musical and artistic creation.

Taking into consideration that the place in question is located in an area full of art and music, we can appreciate a lot of murals and contemporary art museums throughout the sector while we walk in search of a place to eat a little. Adding to the experience, a pleasant enough climate to know a little the places of relaxation that the sector offers.

- Small sample of Simón Bolívar Big Band Jazz -

For those who are unaware of the current situation in my country Venezuela, public transport is about to collapse as well as any other dependency of the state or private entity, being quite complicated to move from one state to another. Of course, this did not stop us from reaching the place and enjoying the nocturnal function, which I will leave here below for you to enjoy.

Being a small sample of the Simón Bolívar Big Band Jazz ensemble, directed by the great "Andres Briceño" jazz drummer with a great trajectory and skill in the instrument. Showing to the public eight pieces of jazz, contemplated among them great standads of the genre.
