Gundam Unicorn at Odaiba | 台場的獨角獸高達

After the first 1:1 Gundam completed its mission and moved to other location (Taiwan?), many Gundam fans wanted to know if Gundams will return? At what form factor? Where? When? Now they were answered. Successor of the original 1:1 Gundam is now standing at the same spot, Diver City of Odaiba.

自從第一代等身原祖高達在台場退役之後，一眾高達粉都十分盼望會有另一高達的出現。終於，1:1的獨角獸高達接下這個任務，現在轟立在同一地點：台場的Diver City。

After my short stay for food at Tsukiji, I went to see this robot. It was a rainy morning, there was rain shower when I arrived. However, the rain could not put away fans’ passions. With or without umbrellas, they kept taking photos.

我早上短暫的在築地尋吃的之後，就跑去看看這機械人。整個早上都下著毛毛細雨，當然不會淹沒粉絲們的熱情。不論有沒有打傘，大家都是拍個不停。

I found that there was a about 10 ft high platform setup right in front of the giant robot. It was the official photo spot. Staffs invited visitors to go up and took photos for them. They would also use your cameras or mobile phones to take photos for you too. Of course, the idea was to sell you hard copy of your photo. For ¥1500 each, I didn’t think the hardcopy worth that much, so I didn’t buy it.

今次再來，發現了有一個新的平台，大約十尺高，就建在高達的正前方。原來是官方的拍照地點。職員會招攬遊客到上面拍照，之後再向你推銷¥1,500一張的照片。因為太貴，我覺得不值，所以就沒有買。不過因為職員除了會用他們的相機之外，還很樂意為客人用自己的相機或電話拍照，所以我都擁有自己的相片。

Frankly speaking, the photo spot is the best place to take photo with Unicorn Gundam, so when you visit there, make sure you go to the photo spot and take a photo with Gundam. Anyway, after came down from the platform, I joined the group of fans again for photo shooting.

那的確是最佳拍攝地點，所以如果你到那邊看高達的話，記得一的要到台上拍照。好了，我從台上下來之後當然繼續不停拍照啦。

Just like the old Gundam, there are shows scheduled multiple times a day. The shows at night are different from those at day time, there will be different videos played at the screen behind. Since I was not going to stay too long there, I could like watch the daytime show.

和之前的安排一樣，獨角獸高達都有可動的部分以作表演之用。每天有不同的場次，而且日間的場次跟晚間的是有分別的。可惜我不會逗留太久所以只好錯過晚上的表演了。

After the show, Unicorn Gundam changed to Destroy Mode. Fans of course had to busy taking photos again! I heard that at Unicorn Gundam will have different lighting colors in the night shows. Hope that I will have a chance to see that.
