I usually stay in hotel room after dinner when I go to Bangkok on business alone. If there is a good massage service available in the hotel, I may enjoy enjoy one set of Thai-style massage, nothing more. I did something quite different in my last Bangkok trip at beginning of Dec, I visited the Train night market by my own.
一般我到曼谷出差時，我喜歡吃過晚餐就呆在酒店房裏，如果酒店有好的按摩服務，我頂多就是享受一次泰式按摩，不會再做其他事了。不過對上一次在12月初到曼谷時，我就做了件不一樣的事，就是獨自去了火車夜市了。
That one was not the original famous Train night market, which is located far away from central Bangkok, this one is a clone of it. Although may not carry as many products and interesting stuffs as the old one, this Train night market has the advantage of ease of access, that's why it is still very popular among local Thai people and tourists.
這個夜市雖然都是叫做Train Market, 但是並不是最出名的那一個Train Market, 這個只是依樣畫葫蘆仿製品。這樣比起那邊規模較小，貨品種類亦沒有樣多。可以因為交通相比起來方便得多，所以這裏亦是十分受歡迎。
To go there, take MRT to National Cultural Centre station, you will see directions once you get off the train. Turn left at MRT station exit, follow the road and you will hit the junction shortly. You can either turn left again and follow the road all the way to the market or cross the road there, go into the shopping mall and get out at the back of the mall.
到這樣的交通十分方便，只要坐MRT到National Cultural Centre站，落車之後就會見到指示。依指示到了MRT站出口，轉左之後沿路直走，一會兒就會到達路口。到了這裏，你可以選擇再轉左沿路直走到夜市，又或者是走過行車路到商場去，穿過商場，在後面的門離開，一出門就到夜市。
Like many other places in Thailand, there is a small shrine at the entrance of the market. Looks like many people came here to worship.
夜市入口有位小小的神壇，有不少信眾參拜過呀。
At the outermost circle of the market were bars and pubs and restaurants and some indoor shops, in between were avenues of stalls for goods and street foods. As it was before Christmas when I visited there, there were X'mas decorations all over the places.
夜市最外圍是酒吧，餐廳和一些位於小屋中的小商店，被包圍在入面的是一排排的排檔。有賣東西的，亦有賣吃的。由於當時快到聖誕節，所以有不少聖誕裝飾。
