Pada kesempatan ini saya akan berbagi sedikit pengalaman tentang perjalanan liburan akhir tahun saya kemarin. Yaitu perjalan an menuju sebuah tempat yang tidak akan saya lupakan tentang keindahan panorama alamnya, lingkok kuwieng nama tempatnya.

Lingkok Kuwieng berada di pedalaman hutan Hagu, 20 km atau 1,5 jam dari pusat Kecamatan Padang Tiji, Pidie, Aceh. Tempat itu sering kali disebut Grand Canyon-nya Aceh. Betapa tidak, dinding sungai di sana yaitu bebatuan yang tersusun rapi berbentuk ngarai besar.
Lingkok Kuwieng is located in the hinterland of Hagu forest, 20 km or 1.5 hours from the center of Padang Tiji Subdistrict, Pidie, Aceh. The place is often called the Grand Canyon of Aceh. Imagine, the river wall there is a rock that is neatly arranged in the form of a large canyon.
Ngarai itu terbentuk agak menyerupai situs kuno. Susunan dan kontur batunya sekilas seperti hasil ukir tangan manusia zaman dulu. Tapi jangan salah, ngarai di sana terbentuk sendirinya.
Keunikan ngarai Lingkok Kuwieng murni fenomena alam, disebabkan erosi oleh air pegunungan yang selalu mengalir dengan volume yang berubah-ubah.

Di Lingkok Kuwieng, kita bisa mandi menikmati air yang bersih dan dingin dari sumbernya. Air tersebut keluar dari beberapa celah bebatuan. Selain itu, kita juga bisa mandi di sejumlah air terjun yang tercipta karena dasar sungai yang menurun di bebatuan.
Berada di pedalaman hutan dengan keasrian alam masih terjaga, kita juga bisa bersantai sejenak di atas bebatuan yang rata sambil menikmati suara aliran air sungai dan nyinyiran burung dari dalam hutan.
Saya sempat tertidur di bebatuan, alamnya yang indah dan suasana damai di tengah hutan membuat kita nyaman berlama-lama di sana.

Tempat wisata alam Lingkok Kuwieng awalnya ditemukan oleh beberapa anggota pencinta alam dan semakin terkenal setelah foto-fotonya diunggah ke media sosial.
Warga setempat lebih mengenal tempat tersebut dengan nama Uruek Meuh berarti Lobang Emas dikarenakan bebatuan di sana yang menyerupai warna emas.
Tiga tahun belakangan, Lingkok Kuwieng semakin terkenal di telinga warga. Hal ini terlihat dari banyaknya pengunjung yang ingin menikmati keindahan alam di sana.
The natural attractions of Lingkok Kuwieng were originally discovered by some members of nature lovers and increasingly famous after the photos were uploaded to social media.
Locals more familiar with the place with the name Uruek Meuh means the Golden Hole because of the rocks in there that resemble the color of gold.
In the past three years, Lingkok kuwieng has become more popular in citizens' ears. This is evident from the number of visitors who want to enjoy the natural beauty there.
Berada di tengah pedalaman hutan Aceh, Lingkok Kuwieng belum tersedia akomodasi di sana. Disarankan untuk pengunjung yang ingin ke sana, terlebih dahulu menyediakan bekal seperlunya.
Meskipun berada di pedalaman hutan, Lingkok Kuwieng masih bisa diakses dengan kendaraan roda dua. Namun, disarankan jangan menggunakan motor matic. Jalanan yang terjal dan bebatuan akan memacu adrenalin pengendara.
Dari Jalan Nasional Medan - Banda Aceh, persisnya di pasar Padang Tiji, pengunjung silahkan ikuti jalur aspal yang berada di depan Koramil Padang Tiji.

Selanjutnya ikuti saja jalan tersebut hingga Anda akan memasuki jalanan yang dipenuhi bebatuan. Setelah jalan beraspal terlewati, nah dari sanalah adventure dimulai
Jalur tempuh yang merupakan jalanan warga untuk ke kebun itu sangat terjal dengan bebatuan besar. Apalagi ketika setengah perjalanan, Anda akan menaiki pergunungan dengan jalur yang menanjak penuh bebatuan.
Dua jam berkendara dengan jalur off-road, Anda akan sampai di Lingkok Kuwieng, surga di pedalaman hutan Pidie. Anda juga bisa meminta warga setempat sebagai guide dengan membayar Rp 200 ribu sekali trip. Atau menyewa mobil off-road seharga Rp 400 ribu.
