During lockdown, all museums, libraries and cultural or learning centers are all closed. I missed my quiet walk around the ground of the National Museum which is nicely designed with old trees, some bonsai trees and green border plants. This whole area used to be a palace where some of the Royal Princes used to live almost two hundred years ago.
So, most of the old buildings were typical Thai style design with old teak floor, heavy door panels and wooden frame windows. These old buildings were turned into National Museum about a hundred years ago.
Old people believe that old palaces are usually full of spirits or ghosts of older generations of people who used to live and work in the palaces. There are lots of stories about spirits walking at night in palace gardens and along dark corridors.
This museum has some of the best historical art works, sculptures and statues dating back to some three thousand years. Being so old and full of past memories, some old statues may have spirits from the old era living inside. They are perhaps waiting for the right time to go through another realm or dimension of reality. At the moment, they are stuck in out 3D reality.
I always have a funny feeling that these old statutes somehow recognised me from other life times. I often get some energy from old Buddha statues and these antique pieces seem full of sacred vibes and stories of the past hundreds of years. I wonder where I would be in five hundred years, I would be no more though these statues will be here for many thousand years.
Wishing you peace, good health and prosperity.
Cheers.
