I've come with my family to see my mom's home town for the first time ever!
This is a departure from my usual posts. Just a few pics of what I've seen. It's been a very emotional experience for me to visit a place that she left more than 90 years ago!
First we flew from Lugano to Zurich. Easy peasy! Then another 2 hour flight to Dublin.
Flying over Switzerland is always very cool!
After flying to Dublin we took a bus to Skerries. My mom was born in a house by the ocean!
We walked along the beach and looked at one of a series of Martello Towers.

It was nice to see the ocean. The hearty Irish people were actually swimming in the cold water!
This is the cosy little harbour of the quaint town which is now a bedroom community of Dublin.
