We've finally arrived in Lofoten and it's gorgeous as ever. Found myself in front of the camera, in the way of the rest of the view from our cabin in Offersoy in the Lofoten Islands.
The first sight that met us was this lovely lady (my dad's girlfriend) and their newly rented mobile home.
As it's summertime, Lofoten has all these beautiful flowers sprouting everywhere (this is in the garden near our cabin).
We went to the Hauklandsstrand beach, where these magnificent mountains surround the beach.
I tried to get a selfie with my lil sister, but she didn't want to cooperate!
After the beach, we had a traditional Norwegian meal (not very often we have dinner at 2pm lol) with salmon, ribs, salted lamb and lots of potato.
And a delicious creamy porridge with red sauce (raspberry) for dessert!
Preparing with my girlfriend to go for some fishing.
The results were somewhat dim, depending on how you look at it: I caught the earth (got stuck in the seaweed), my girlfriend caught a boat (!), as we were fishing from a bridge, a boat drove past and got caught, and my girlfriends entire fishing rod broke and my dad's girlfriend got a mackerel which was promptly gutted and filleted.
After an overly exciting fishing trip, we enjoyed some apple and chocolate cake a la grandmother.
Before ending the night with a delicious fiskesuppe (fish soup) with cod/pollock.
Tomorrow we'll be going on a hike and most likely will have something else random happen to us!
