Mexico City Madness: Urban City Shots 1

Photo Caption: A Good Example of the Beautiful Streets of Mexico City

An interesting thing we noticed about Mexico City is that the people look different, much different than those here. They all had a different demeanor to them, even those who looked alternative had the same demeanor. What's more interesting is that things like crazy clothes and hair were so much a part of the local fashion that people sporting those things didn't seem out of place like they do in Acapulco.

Just like in Acapulco there was a lot of building going on all over the city, understandable as it's ranked second largest city in the world as far as population is concerned. I don't think I got any good shots to show an example but they made great use of space there utilizing underpasses on free way ramps through the city as spots for things like coffee shops and even a Little Cesars Pizza.

Now I know I've never been to a Hooters but I'm pretty sure I've never seen one in person before driving past this gem in Mexico City.

All sorts of American chains of pizza to be found in the city.

That grate was intense to stand on, as it was a long drop to a big channel likely part of the subway system in the city.

This was likely a pizza joint that'd just opened, but we weren't sure.

Mexico City is bitcoin friendly in that it has a few Bitcoin atms around, this place holding one of them.

As you can tell the shiny screen wasn't easy to use in the bright city but eventually John got it so he could scan. We then waited an hour and a half for it to confirm which sucked, but ended up with the pesos we needed to make it home.
