My friends often tell me about their trips worldwide. So, any time I listen to their stories I have got some image about this or that city or country, so I decide to form some kind of funny “alphabet” for traveler.
A
Austria.
Austria is like women of old age in big hat and strong traditions. Horse riding is still popular there as 100 years ago. Skiing – many skiers choose Austria any time they think on winter holidays.
B
Brussels.
Centre of world politics, Belgian beer and chocolate. Business-like and conservative.
It is like old diplomat who has already retired but likes to remember his youth.
C
Cuba.
Island of freedom. So it is. They said that sense of freedom is in the air. Sun, ocean and probably the best holiday people remember. Cigars and rum. No way to escape them. And old Soviet vintage cars. Only there you can drive old Moskvich.

Dublin.
Dream of many of my friends. So to say blue dream. Let it be.
E
England.
First association – customs. A lot of questions entering the country. But then Big Ben, Wimbledon, Queen, eggs and bacon for breakfast and ale for dinner. People indifferent to tourists and Globe where still Shakespeare’s plays are gone.

Finland.
Santa-Claus. Winter. Finnish vodka and skiing. I like it severe character and sweet cheese. Skiing is very mild there. No steep slopes. It is country for small children who believe in Santa Claus.

Germany.
Order everywhere. My friends like Munich. Olympic park and BMW house. Beer at Oktoberfest and German food. Oh, yes, and Lufthansa, of course. The best among world airlines.

Holland.
Tulips and Van Gogh. Bicycles everywhere. Channels. Punks and very unusual people but in good mood major part of the day.

Italy.
Rome and Venice. Two towns my friends often mention. And food, namely: spaghetti and pizza. And Italians - so well-bred and enjoying life to its full with glass of wine or cup of coffee.

Jordan.
So interesting and mysterious. But girls always point out the Dead Sea that makes wonders for their skin.

Kenia.
Safari with lions and elephants, giraffes and bears. So authentic that at first friends only smile and showed photos. People that are not influenced by modern civilization.

London.
Big Ben. Queen. Buckingham Palace and all these royal attributes. London Eye. The Tate gallery and the British Museum with numerous halls.

Mauritius.
It's the island in the Indian Ocean. The best crocodile farm, tea plantation, ocean, land of 7 earths. Rest. Total. From everything with wild animals in the natural parks.
O
Oslo and Norway.
Our tzars used to spend their summers there: in fjords. My friends went for mounteneering there and skiing. But they are in love with its nature and people.

Portugal.
Country of coffee and ocean. My aunt is fond of it. A lot of natural parks and places of cultural heritage. The cheapest in the Europe and the most furthest from Russia.
Q
Qatar.
Qatar airlines and its beautiful stewardesses. Nobody of my friend has ever been to Qatar but most of them fly with Qatar airlines. Just the most beautiful stewardesses.

Russia.
My foreign friends adore Russia. Because of people and food. Especially in winter. Especially they like babushka and dedushka. And pancakes with caviar.

Switzerland.
Chocolate. Financial stability. Alps. Geneve lake and Bern, friendly people speaking three languages except English. Swiss watch.

Tenerife.
Sun. Surfing. Vucano Teide and Loro Parque. Seafood and active sports. 360 sunny days a year. Spanish markets and friendly people. Canarian islands.....

Uganda.
The first country that comes to my mind is Uganda. Nobody from my friends has been there but it attracts many of them just by its name.
V
Vienna.
Opera. It is the first word the people begin their story about Vienna. Then Sacher cake in the Sacher hotel. The taste of the century. Delicious....mmmm.
W
Wales.
It is like a young gentlemen of old age. In traditional costume and following all traditions of the nation. Very authentic country. Cardiff is the centre of everything although it is like a village if compare with Moscow.
