A brief note before start with the post: This is my second post and meanwhile it is not about my common topics (freelancing, coding, SEO, marketing...), it is about one of my favourite hobbies: travel. I hope you enjoy this post as much as I enjoy doing it!
Why You should visit Granada (Spain)?
Where is it?
Granada is a capital city in Andalusia, Spain. It is a city in the south of Spain, between the mountains and the sea. It is cold in winter (with -15ºC!) and really hot on summer (with 35-40ºC!).
When is the best time to visit it?
Well, if you don't mind about high temperatures, you could go on Summer and enjoy not only the city and its culture but also its beaches. If you prefer a better time, you should go on Spring.

What should you visit?
In this first part we will talk about two really famous places:- La Alhambra
- El Paseo de los Tristes
La Alhambra
It is a palace and fortress complex from the 11th century. It was converted into a royal palace in 1333 by Yusuf I, Sultan of Granada. After the conclusion of the Christian Reconquista in 1492, the site became the Royal Court of Ferdinand and Isabella (where Christopher Columbus received royal endorsement for his expedition), and the palaces were partially altered to Renaissance tastes.
Moorish poets described it as "a pearl set in emeralds" an allusion to the color of its buildings and the woods around them. The palace complex was designed with the mountainous site in mind and many forms of technology were considered. The park (Alameda de la Alhambra), which is overgrown with wildflowers and grass in the spring, was planted by the Moors with roses, oranges, and myrtles; its most characteristic feature, however, is the dense wood of English elms brought by the Duke of Wellington in 1812. The park has a multitude of nightingales and is usually filled with the sound of running water from several fountains and cascades.
El Paseo de Los Tristes
Translated from Spanish to English, it would mean something like: "The Walk of the sad people". But don't let the name makes you feel like this is a sad and depressing place. It is one of the most touristic and full of activity places on Granada. There are hundreds of beautiful hotels, restaurants and also museums and parks to enjoy. Also, its air and colors feel full of magic at night.
It is really close to La Alhambra (It is just on the other side of the river) so meanwhile, you eat a really tasty Mediterranean food on one of the several restaurants, you will be able to see the awesome views of La Alhambra. Could be it better?

To avoid creating a really long post (trust me, a really loooong post), I have divided it into few parts. In this first one, I have talked about two of the most famous places on Granada.
