Steepshot #15 The tunnels going down the Underground city in Cappadocia is fascinating. They are not only straight down but often times with curves turning to the right and to the left. You are taken back to ancient times where people had to shelter in caves. The stair cases go down to a few floors so that you can also reach the bottom. When you reach a floor, you will be amazed at the vast area where people used to live and spent their lives here. When you come to Turkey, be sure to visit the 4 most famous underground cities that are open to tourists.
