We could of drove up to the Three Rivers' Reimer's Ice Cream to save 2 hours of driving, but we hadn't been to Oakhurst as a family and I love going for long drives.

Oakhurst is a cute mountain community chopped full of things to see and do, but we only had enough time to relax and enjoy some delicious ice cream.

Oakhurst is 14 miles from the entrance of Yosemite National Park, so I guess it was a practice run to the border of Yosemite.

We have been planning a trip to Yosemite, so now we know what to expect when we take the trip to Yosemite.

The ice cream at Reimer's is always delicious and we enjoyed live music on the grass.

We lost most sun light as we were leaving town, but I had to get a shot of the huge Welcome to Oakhurst sign that is a few miles above the community
