Hi everyone!
Today I will start a new SeanyTravels series on my adventures in Japan! I am so excited to share with everyone my years (actually i'm not that old :P ) of travelling in Japan. I have a huge backlog of Japan posts, so I am just currently thinking which I should share first. It's a happy problem really, because I have so many videos, photos, stories and tips to share with everyone about travelling in Japan.
I looked through the recent Japan posts on Steemit and did not see much related to Fukuoka at the moment, so hopefully this series of posts will show you somewhere new and inspire you to add Fukuoka and Kyushu onto your next Japan to-go list!
I took this trip to Fukuoka last year, and it was quite a spur decision to do so. I happened to see bargain prices on a Vietnam Airlines flight from Singapore to Fukuoka, and just snapped them up quickly.
That was my first time in the whole of Kyushu, and Fukuoka is a great place to begin that adventure!
There are many landmarks in Fukuoka and I will introduce everyone to them in this series.
For this first post, I will show you some interesting sights on my first night in Fukuoka, and what I really love to do for entertainment here!
Many of the places are accessible easily by bus in Fukuoka, and I took the bus more than the train in my trip, way more compared to Tokyo and Osaka, where train is more convenient.
We saw this really nice illustration of the Final Fantasy new release at the staircase of the Tenjin train station. There was a really anticipated release of it I think, back when we were there.
We really love to visit arcades when we are in Japan, and there a few games and machines we always go for.
it's not a really easy game, especially with a few coins
This is the Luigi Haunted Mansion shooting game, where it really isn't a gun, but you hold a Vacuum cleaner Torch light weapon where you can shine at ghosts and suck them up.
Some other games that we really like are the Claw Machines, Purikura (chik chak) Photo machines where you can get neoprints, and also Mario Kart! I will post more about these machines when I introduce another entertainment spot to you!
In Singapore there is a machine that is really scarce nowadays, almost the the point I think there are only 1 or 2 machines left. And it is the DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) game. It's quite sad that alot of the arcades have been taken over by Tuition centres, and the remaining ones are all so old. I would buy one entire Machine for my house if I could. In any case, I visit Japan to play these machines, when there are fewer people around, of course. The Japanese are really good at this game, and they play for endless hours at the highest difficulty. I am not that good, and no longer as good as I used to be (because I can't find a place to play inexpensively), so it's just an occasional fun game for now.
I hope my friend on steemit @ddrfr33k sees this as well!

I got a A+! .....but on an easy song HAHA
I will be posting on landmarks, places, and FOOD!
Checking out photos on food really makes me hungry, and especially since I am so far away from Japan now, it's quite tough to handle. I am especially hungry when I am reading @goodboyphilip posts, always so many delicious dishes, that I can only hope to be in front of me now T.T
Hope you enjoyed the post, video and my dance! Will update more soon! :D
