As you have read from my previous post, I did not have an especially satisfying meal.
I needed something really good for my tummy. So I went over to one of my most frequented cafes in Japan......
Hoshino Coffee!
You might have seen them before, they are known for their super fluffy souffle pancakes!
spread some maple syrup on top, delicious
They make them on the spot when you order, so it will take over 10-20 minutes for them to serve you. But you can be sure that they are fresh from the oven for your indulgence.
the interior of the cafe
We stayed there for quite a long while, taking our time to enjoy the pancakes, like we always do at Hoshino's. I have also tried their main courses before, and they are quite good as well. The Singapore branch also retains the style of the cafe and the quality and flavour of the food. The pancakes are still the absolute best when eaten in Japan though.
After that before heading home, we went to the arcade!
There's just so many games to play here, but in some areas, smoking is permitted, so if you don't like the smell of smoke, you have to stay clear of the machines near them. They're much bigger than the ones in Singapore (if any arcades still exist...)
We first scan the game center for some nice toys to win at the crane machines, and just walk around.. waiting to get back to it later when the wave of luck flows in.
We played this first! Air Hockey!
losing at the moment... but i won at the end... righttttt
Then I tried this shooting game. It wasn't good.
it's absolutely rigged, i can't get a shot on target
We are fans of Neko-Atsume, and we have collected quite a fair bit of those crane machine toys and Gachapons (the surprises in the round balls).
And after just a few tries, we won this!!!
Pepper says hi
