Japan Trip in Kyoto - Arashiyama Bamboo Grove [Original Content]

Early morning we went to visit the famous Arashiyama Bamboo Grove in Kyoto. It's very easy to go there by train from Kyoto Station and it's just a 5min walk to the forest from Arashiyama station.

You can also rent a bycicle nearby the station but we think it's not really worth it. And it's recommended to go early mornings because it is a very touristy place. You can also rent kimonos and let your hair made for $30-$50.

The Bamboo Grove was smaller than expected but you can still spend a half day there. There is also a park with monkeys inside and there are also small shrines where you can also buy lucky charms.

All in all it was a good spot to visit in Kyoto. A must see place for sure! It's very peaceful and magical there. Except when all the other tourists march in from lunch time onwards. It can get very, very crowded.

You can get some really nice shots all over the Bamboo Grove. There are several sections and alleys where you can go to.

We finished the day with a nice dinner on a roof top. It was a Japanese grill restaurant with drink all you can offering.
