I like to travel on mountain roads of North Ossetia together with the camera. Sometimes there are amazing beauty birds, unusual and not seen before the plants, and the majestic mountains open all in new angles.
North Ossetia is a country of mountains and picturesque gorges, it has a unique nature, clean air and beautiful places.
The republic is rich and lakes. In the lakes you will often notice green webs of algae with patches of citadels, reeds and even sphagnum mosses. Many of them are gradually overgrown and waterlogged. But in the gorges here and there are old copies - the remains of copper mines. After all, since ancient times, the North Caucasus was famous for its minerals. In the mountains copper, lead, antimony were mined, there was a lot of zinc and iron.
There are many different animals in our gorges, but you can not come here in the evening, as you will surely meet the bats, so the locals call the bats. These gray ushany, they are called so scientifically, live not only in the mountains, they are also found in the attics of many rural houses.
No wonder they say: better than mountains, there can only be mountains!

Yes! There are a lot of cows, sheep, and bulls, it took a long time to wait. To capture this landscape, they all strived to bend me, but that was not it. My grandmother taught me how to defend myself, I need a good twig, and no one is afraid of you :-)
Now you need to go down to the plain, there are already friends cooking shish kebab. But how nice after such a "tiring" trip through the mountains, a bite to eat in nature!
Coming here always there is a desire to build a small house here, and stay! But thinking, you can stay a week or two, but then you will want something new! I do not like to sit in one place! I like to travel!
But this place is special. On this wonderful tree today I met even a "handsome man" of croquet. There are a lot of birds in the mountains, even singing thrushes, and moose-owls, but this crock is so ugly, it has a curved beak, and it itself has a light brown color, did not expect to see it here, since usually the clover eats the fruits of coniferous plants, And there is not a single coniferous tree nearby.
In the mountains there are many interesting things. Sometimes you can find and destroyed castles, ancient watchtowers, or solitary abandoned houses, but each of them is shrouded in secrets and legends!
But most of all in Ossetia I am attracted by rough mountain rivers, probably because I really like the sea, but, unfortunately, the sea is not here. But the rivers here are very noisy, on the banks of the river you often will not hear your voice. Streams of water here swiftly rush to meet the huge boulders, cluttering their channel, that you forget about everything.
In the mountains there are many springs with the purest water. But how many medicinal plants are there, every time leaving for nature, I bring with me a whole bunch of medicinal herbs, and then for a long time the fragrance and fresh smell of Caucasian plants remain in the room. I love to collect astragalus - a very useful healing herb.
