Hello my dear friends! Let me invite you to the Valley of ostriches today. The ostrich valley is an ostrich farm. This farm is located not far from Kiev in the Makar region in the village of Yasnogorodka. The farm operates every day without days off. On this farm you can see not only ostriches, but also many other animals.
This farm looks like a park. Here there is a restaurant in which all dishes are prepared from meat and eggs of ostrich. There is also a souvenir shop, gazebos, swings and a pond.
Entertainment for extreme - ostrich run
At the Yasnogorodskaya ostrich farm for the first time in Ukraine, ostrich runs were conducted. It was here that they decided that it was not such a bad idea to saddle a black African ostrich. From the outside it really looks fun! Riders climb the birds, and after - try to stay, clutching at the hard feathers. Even if a fast-paced bird manages to push the "passenger" - it's okay, because skating takes place on a grassy lawn. It is important to know: ostrich racing is an entertainment for participants from 18 years old and weighing up to 70 kg.
You can get to the farm from the metro station "Nivki" by taking the minibus №376. About an hour on the road - and you are in the village of Jasnogorodka near Kiev. From here to the "Valley of Ostrichs" you need to walk for about 10 minutes.
